Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Every week I'll have a list of jobs to complete and over a day I will swap between these tasks prioritising different tasks when necessary. These tasks will be sorting through data, data labelling, generating insights from the data, and making decks.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given more support than I felt was needed at times which made it difficult for me to feel as though I had massive amounts of responsibility but as the year has gone on I have been given more responsibility over my work.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my presentation skills, and can now present confidently to groups of people. I have also learnt how to use excel to a high proficiency.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was unfortunately ill at the start of the placement so I had to work remotely for the first 6 weeks, whilst this made things more difficult I felt extremely supported in this time. There was great support and guidance over my first 6 weeks which continued when I came in to the office.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have greatly enjoyed my placement so far, there are two other interns in my role and I have really loved getting to work with them and also experience this with two other people in the same position as me.

What advice would you give to others applying to NBCUniversal
Try your hardest in your application but also have fun, I made a joke in mine and still got the role. For the video interview be relaxed and carry that through the recruitment process.
