Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day-to-day I support in the campaign activation process for the phsyical and the digital release (PVOD, EST & VOD) of films after the theatrical window across Europe, Middle East & Africa.
This involves working alongside our media agencies and retailers to create and deliver assets to activate across multiple online platforms.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
During the first few months, the responsibility I was given was quite limited as I was still in training and was learning all the different processes and becoming accustomed to all the platforms and systems.
Further along on my internship I was given much more responsibility and was able to manage my own marketing campaigns with my managers support.

- developed my photoshop skills when creating assets for Amazon.
- I have developed my client-agency relationship skills.
- I have learnt about how to create a successful marketing campaign from start to finish, from briefing the agency, to supporting the creation of assets, to the activation of our creative across Meta, YouTube and Tiktok, all within a specific time frame.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I felt supported by my manager and my team throughout my whole placement. When I first started everyone made sure I knew how the team structure worked and everyone's role in the team. They gave me a very straightforward handover and made sure everything was clear and understood what my role entailed. They also made themselves evaluable to answer any questions I had.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and atmosphere was super welcoming right from the start. Everyone at the company is super friendly and open and made me feel comfortable and safe as a new member.
The early careers team organized many events to help all the interns get to know each other and network to make sure we all settled in.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and found it super fulfilling. It helped me develop both personally and professionally and made me realize how much I enjoy working in marketing and the entertainment industry and how this is something I want to pursue in the future.
