Store time- Understanding the fundamentals of the business
Head office- Carrying out projects to improve the businesses efficiency, given real responsibility throughout.
Shadowing Area Managers- Exploring what the role of an AM involves, coach and develop you stores.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
You are constantly given real responsibility on every rotation of the placement. Although sometimes challenging it allows you to grow your skill set and become more resilient which will help you in your final year of University and future career.

My skill set is so much stronger in comparison to when I started at Aldi. What once were my weaknesses are now strengths and with constant exposure and experience can only improve.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
An invaluable year with great opportunities to grow you knowledge but also your skill set. Although challenging at times, the constant exposure and responsibility you get is like no other placement year.
