Use of advanced equipment to measure sound levels precisely.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I were given project and went out for survey as normal employee with the guidance of senior engineer. I appreciate that colleague here trusted me on working a big project by myself.

People here are really friendly, I don't feel stress to ask question and I learned a lot from them. Line manager will check-up on you time to time make sure I got a manageable workload for myself.
