Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I complete technical drawings, engineering calculations and reports. I gather information and relay that back to other people through emails and reports and alter anything based upon their recommendation. I take notes during internal and external meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I have been given plenty of responsibility throughout my placement and have had help on hand whenever it has been needed.

I have mainly been developing my soft skills such as communication and report writing and more technical skills like using engineering software to complete drawings, calculations and to record and display information.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have enjoyed my placement a lot. My team have made me feel very welcome and have created a very friendly atmosphere which helped me to settle quickly. I have enjoyed being trusted with responsibility within projects and this has helped the work feel more fulfilling. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to use a variety of software and develop my technical and IT skills.
