Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As part of my front runner internship, I was taking part on conducting research for Kimberlein library. The aim of the research was to understand student preference in accessing information about the library and services offered.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I would say so. I was given a main project to work on. There was additional work too like meetings, university activities. A lot of independent work as well.

I have received a lot of support from my project manager. She was not only there all the time, but I was able to go through data I collected and ask personal advise in general.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

General atmosphere was very friendly. As a formal institution it was nice to have so many friendly and smiling members of staff. They were always asking how I was getting on.
