Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Interacted daily with the sustainability manager on projects.
Researched and created new content for the sustainability website.
Worked on several projects throughout the internship with included the Lions of Action Project, SeeD Grant, and Sustainability Advocates.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Although there were set projects I was responsibility for, I was able to create new ideas and projects that I could have worked on. The team was very open and receptive to fresh, out of the box ideas.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I received a lot of support from the not only the manager but other members on the team. They were easy to talk to if I had any difficulties. The frontrunner team at DMU were also very helpful if there were any queries regarding the role.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was very friendly, inviting and comfortable. The team worked as one and always supported each other. From my interactions, I have been able to form friendships outside of the internship with the team.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship. I am very happy that I was able to implement my own project that will be used for years to come. I also enjoyed interacting with the team as they created a warm and pleasant working environment.
