Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Worked in partnership with the Learning Technology team
- Created digital resources for staff to understand how to use a new VLE system (Learning Zone)
- Created and designed an online example module
- Created video content, tutorials, and online resources

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was given a good amount of responsibility, such as creating videos and features within an example module. I was also able to practice my skills learnt in workshops that aimed to teach other staff members how to use the VLE.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I had lots of support and guidance from my supervisor. Weekly meetings were consistently conducted to ensure I had a clear understanding on what I would be doing next. I was always able to go to my supervisor when needed, and she always made sure that I knew what I was doing.
