Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Using sap, to manage orders.
Looking after any requests from vendors, or from sales.
Working with vendors to setup pricing, or any skis.
making sure to complete all requests on RM.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was given much more responsibility than I thought I would be.
This was great and it meant I didn't feel like an intern, and more like an actual employee.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I gained a lot of experience with systems such as SAP, RM and excel. I further developed my skills in customer support and engaging with sales between departments.
I also worked on my communication skills with vendors, and made sure I was able to help when they needed it.

I received plenty of support, and people in my team were always there to answer any questions or help out whenever I needed it.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture was really good, and friendly. They wanted my internship to be a success, and were thankful for all of my help. They also made sure I made the most of any opportunities while being at TD Synnex.
