My role involved assisting the business and private client tax teams with whatever tasks they were working on. This ranged from admin tasks to client meetings.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given real client work but was assisted with this whenever needed. This was the perfect balance of responsibility and pressure.

I received a lot of support and guidance throughout my internship. I was assigned a buddy on my first day who made sure I was comfortable and was given guidance from managers.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The atmosphere at Evelyn partners is incredibly welcoming, every person in the office was kind and willing to help me. Their general culture is also impressive, with paid volunteering days offered and a strong focus on inclusivity.
