Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role is in Group Communications, Colleague Communications. I worked on content creation for our new platform. I also worked on the administration work for different campaigns and competitions. I also worked with agencies. On the side, I do a lot of networking sessions with people across the business.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given much responsibility during my internship, all the work that I was given will be published to the platform.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I learned a lot about using content management system, and how to do content creation in a more funny and interesting way while matching the tone of voice. I definitely developed my time and diary management. I also developed a lot on my communication and networking skills.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support and guidance from multiple places. One of the main person is from my line manager who is always there for me and make sure I am okay. My teammates also support me a lot in writing and managing the administration work. I also receive support and guidance from my mentor and the programme manager as well.
