I am a project manager for a quality team, we oversee the quality process within Pfizer and work to continually improve it across the processes and the business.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. I have been given the opportunity to work on organisational level projects, lead a team and lead numerous projects during my placement.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt a range of project management skills, including; Risk Management, Quality Management, Stakeholder engagement, Communication, Change Management, Procurement, Project planning, Management of time, cost and quality. And personally I have learnt about inclusion and diversity.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

A lot. My direct team, and ,many other Pfizer colleagues were extremely supportive during my placement. Even colleagues outside of my team would spend the time to help me develop my skills and teach me something new about the organisation.
