Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involved overseeing social campaigns on LinkedIn and analysing the metrics. I also took a lead in the email campaigns we led to promote our website. I also managed the insight tools we provide our sales team by running training sessions and regularly posting on Teams channels.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I have been given of responsibility which feels positive as it means my team trust me. I have taken a lead on projects and meetings which has helped me develop my skills and confidence in the work place. I felt I could share my own ideas and was a valued member of the team.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Definitely! I have improved my time management skills and organisation skills as I had to manage a heavy work load as well as study time. I have learnt to work effectively in a professional environment in different teams.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
My team were very keen on my development, they pushed me to complete different courses and were happy to allow me to shadow different departments to build up my skills and knowledge in different areas. I had regular check-ins with my line manager and other members of my team which was really useful and helped me maintain good relationships as well as ensuring I was on track.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is very positive and they focus a lot on your well being and mental health. Although the job could be challenging and hard work the company allowed us to take personal time and days to take a well deserved rest and ensure we were always in good place mentally. It was nice to know no matter what your role was or who you were you could all be together and talk to each other

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I feel I have gained skills I will cherish in the future and feel very well set up for any future career journey I take. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and generosity my team showed towards me. My work was enjoyable and something I found interesting which definitely helped. I was also included in the off-site meetings and team building days which were enjoyable.

I would say focus on who you are as a person. I think they look for someone who is going to stand out and align with the Pfizer values and fit in well to the team.
