Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I am part of the intermediary operations team in distributions where we create insights and in turn improve business processes throughout the distributions team and beyond. We work with a lot of data and deal with requests and escalations coming from various parts of the company and customers

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, a lot of the work I have done is impact work. I have taken ownership of various tasks and my insights and reporting has gone to senior management and been put up for change.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it very much. The perfect way to get a deep understanding of the asset management world + the wealth management world - regardless of what stream you are in.
