Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day involves a lot of admin tasks, responding to emails, updating spread sheets, proof reading, answering queries that are product based, checking prices and finance offers.
Any new product launches you will be involved in as well as facelifts and new brand identities.

During this placement, you are given a lot of responsibility and tasks that effect the outcome of the business. The jobs that you do will have purpose and contribute to the business.

There are lots of opportunities to learn and develop skills. Some i have learnt include : commercial awareness, people management, strategic vision, organisation , time management, excel skills and a strong automotive understanding.

Throughout the placement , there is plenty of support and guidance available if needed. As everyone is so patient and understanding it makes the work environment an enjoyable one to be in.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and general atmosphere were both very positive and collaborative. It is a very relaxed environment which allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Everyone is kind and welcoming and genuinely wants you to succeed.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
At the moment, I am really enjoying the placement. It helps that you work closely with other interns. There are lots of perks and days out to look forward to. Never get Monday blues!

What advice would you give to others applying to Renault
Some advice that I would give is not to be embarrassed to ask questions, even if you think that they are silly , chances are that they are not. Everyone makes mistakes ( even people who have worked there for 20 years) so do not panic when you do. Also, make an effort with the other interns!
