Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
had the opportunity to engage in meetings with stakeholders, which offered insights into their perspectives. Additionally, I created flowcharts to demonstrate key processes and the control mechanisms in place. Throughout the planning phase of an audit, I was able to read documents such as risk control matrices and audit process documentations, allowing me to gain a comprehensive understanding of risk assessment methodologies. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to strengthen my excel skills and gain insight into how excel is used within audits.

Yes, I had the responsibility of creating key documents, proof reading and editing.

My experience working with internal audit has been positive as I have been able to learn and develop analytical skills, attention to detail and identify areas of improvement. I have been able to strengthen my excel skills as well as problem solving skills.
