Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The week started with a warm welcome and top tips to guide
us towards a successful legal career. We gained a deeper
knowledge of corporate law and were inspired by the wisdom
shared during the qualified law panel. An eye-opening session
provided a realistic view of the legal profession while
exploring the importance of personal branding for our future
The following day, we engaged in a careers carousel, where
we learned about various legal specialties within the firm.
Commercial awareness training equipped us with essential
skills, and a legal case exercise with RISE honed our
problem-solving abilities. Reflecting on our experiences, I am
now inspired to pursue a successful and impactful journey in
the legal world. We were immersed in a series of engaging
and inspiring sessions that deepened our passion for a
successful legal career.
Starting with tips on standing out as future applicants, we
explored the core value of inclusion, gained insights into
global financial markets, and honed our networking skills
during a lunch event. Thought-provoking case studies, such as
the LGBTQ+ exercise, challenged our critical thinking

equipped us with essential resources. As the week
progressed, we discovered the next steps in the ACCESS
program, delved into practical legal aspects, and engaged
with successful alumni. Understanding the significance of
