Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Management of company's website and social-media channels. In addition, the making and running of paid advertising accompanied by regular content-creation duties involving graphics, videos, and written content.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was provided with tremendous amount of autonomy on many projects, thus making me more responsible, aware, and cautious of my decisions. Despite the freedom to lead on many initiatives, there was always a review process in place to ensure my work was free of errors.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Increased awareness of social-media marketing and paid-advertising. The role also offered ample opportunity for further development of writing skills and research abilities when creating website articles. The most beneficial aspect was the improvement of an array of soft skills such as time-management, effective communication, and the planning and execution of projects.

Although the official training was scarce, I do believe I found myself within a very supportive environment where it was easy for me to reach out and ask for additional assistance, when and if needed.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
An amazing culture of support and proactive action. The work often seemed very relaxed due to the friendly and humorous disposition of everyone around. Definitely one of the best work environments one can find themselves in.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have greatly enjoyed the placement. There is a tremendous amount which I have learnt - not specifically about the role, but rather about the industry and the business as a whole. I believe it has been an invaluable experience which will propel me towards the next step of my career.
