Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

· Carry out research for different brand projects
· Review, edit and write copy using our tone of voice
· Support the organisation and delivery of brand projects
· Developing an internal brand awareness campaign strategy

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I would say I was given a lot of responsibility because I was given ownership of my own brand project, which involved investigating current internal brand awareness in different areas of the company and developing a campaign strategy to improve understanding and engagement with Brand.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

In addition to open communication with my line manager on Microsoft Teams, we scheduled two weekly catch-ups where we discussed my progress, ideas and anything I needed guidance on. I was also free to reach out to the wider Brand team as well as other teams when I had a question or needed support.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I've really enjoyed the opportunity to grow my knowledge of brand guardianship and copywriting whilst simultaneously being able to put what I've learnt into practice by developing my own internal brand awareness campaign strategy for the company.
