Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Frontend engineer working on the rewards section of Expedia Group's brands. This involves testing and working on frontend components in this section of the website. My role requires me to attend daily stand-ups and other team meetings, as well as actively work on tickets assigned to me.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A reasonable amount considering I am an intern. I was not working on crucial tasks but nevertheless the work I did was meaningful and important to the team's success and progress.

I have developed my frontend skills with using technologies such as React and Typescript, and learnt about many other technologies and tools such as GraphQL, GitHub actions and CypressJS.
