Conduct lab research to support project portfolio. Involve weekly 1:1 meeting with manager to discuss on progress of project, learnings and next approach.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. However, support has always been given whenever needed and everyone is kind enough and willing to help anytime when they have the ability to.

Receive support for the project involved itself. Guidance and recommendation for room of improvements were also given for university assessments and external opportunities.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture emphasises much on a good work-life balance. Lots of internal organisational activities were held all over the year to ensure colleagues have joy and good well-being at the meantime of working towards science breakthroughs.
