Software Development of bespoke software used by lab bases scientists

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given enough responsibility to work independently as much as I wanted to work on my own projects with I was responsible for. This didn't stop significant amounts of collaboration with others.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

When I started I had over 3 meets per week with different people giving me support and guidance, after a few months I went down to 2 meetings per week as I was getting more independent. plus impromptu chats and meetings for additional specific task based support happen when needed

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

a good work deserves rewarding type environment. Everyones willing to help if things aren't going to plan or they are struggling with something. Everyones very nice and friendly. Even the bosses are nice
