Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As a PM I help communicate between the development team and the client to organise and oversee the development and manage the clients expectations of the project
As a developer i have been given website projects to work on that follow a waterfall and agile hybrid methodology where my communications are directly with the PM on that project.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I am given a huge amount of responsibility as at this point I handle all of my projects myself without supervision unless i ask for it

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

My soft skills such as communication and autonomy have improved drastically as i have become more confident with how Pfizer Digital functions whilst completing my PM work.
My understanding of the project lifecycle has also increased dramatically as i have been involved in every stage of a projects creation and delivery as a PM and developer

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

At the start i received a lot of support to help get myself up to date with the platforms and how Pfizer works, as time went on the supervision dwindled but i can still ask my manager and team any questions i dont know the answers to.
