Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Collecting, processing and analyzing electronically stored information obtained from network, cloud and end user digital sources in accordance with Forensic industry standards.
- Participating in the Forensic Investigation Triage (FIT) process triaging and prioritizing new requests and alert tickets.
- Suggesting and developing proactive mitigations that enable a defense-in-depth
posture for the Pfizer environment.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given the same responsibility throughout my placement as full time digital forensics analysts within my team. This made me feel trusted and welcomed but I also knew I had the support of my team whenever I needed help.

Throughout my placement I have gained a number of technical skills and gained experience using multiple different digital forensics tools. I have also developed my soft skills such as teamwork and leadership skills.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received incredible training, support and guidance throughout my placement. There was always someone on hand to answer any questions and help me with anything I was struggling with.
