Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
In my disputes seat, I performed legal research and assisted with client briefs.
In my corporate seat, I assisted an associate with live matters, reviewing corporate documents. We are given formal assessments for the corporate and litigation practice.
Outside the structured program, I engaged lawyers from various practices for coffee to learn more about their practice.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
You get as much work as you can take and are capable of delivering. Once my supervisors know that I have had experience in a particular area of law, they have no qualms in giving me more senior responsibilities. They are always there to provide support and guidance.

I received support from my direct supervisor and the trainees. There is no hierarchy between my associte supervisor and myself.
