Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

On a day-to-day basis, I have to keep check of our task board and complete the tasks in a chronological order. This involves the usual campaigns which can be seen on site, but also custom tasks such as social media posts. I have also had the opportunity to work on some side projects whilst on my placement, which have been tailored to my interests within design.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I've been given lots of responsibility including working on big redesign projects within my first 3 months. This made me feel very valued in the team as I was being trusted with big tasks.

Yes, I've developed my personal soft skills such as presenting and time management, whilst also developing on my design skills, particularly in UX Design.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I had a 1-1 with my line manager every 3 weeks, however the option was there to make these more frequent if needed.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture is great, very chilled and relaxed environment. We had monthly pizza meetings, an annual winter & summer social party, along with the opportunity for other fun 'games' throughout the year.
