Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day would include working on corporate tasks to support the team. Then attending meetings with other trainees to get an understanding of how the firm worked and attending video meetings to hear about Gateley initiatives.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was amazing to hear from everyone all from different backgrounds and how they got into law. Knowing that Gateley wants people to be who they are and they make them belong as a result of that.

I’ve completely developed my confidence over the week. Speaking to everyone has really helped me understand the firm. In corporate I have used research skills commonly to find the right information.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture is key when looking for a firm and I found Gateley to be friendly, always there to help and hard working. They do an amazing job of striking a balance between them. The culture has a lot of trait from early on letting trainees breathe and ask questions but also pushing them to learn.
