Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

I worked in the Residential Development Team over the course of the week. I was given tasks such as drafting an advice letter, devising a note for a client to outline their next steps with regards to an issue they faced with their development and several research tasks. The work was very varied and interesting. We also had plenty of opportunities to speak with people in other departments in the firm.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Gateley were very forthcoming in providing information about every different department in the firm. We were given a whistle-stop tour of every department from a member of each team. This allowed a great insight as to the work Gateley do.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Gateley was very welcoming, everyone was polite and took every opportunity to answer any questions you had. The teams work very cohesively and always check in to see whether you have any questions at any point.
