Daily tasks assigned by the team in your specified department

Working on cases across a wide variety of industry sectors. Tasks range from general paperwork, checking documents for errors and admin to drafting letters and client emails.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was brilliant to be immersed in the office. You do feel the Gateley culture is genuinely true and not just an advertisement.
The departmental talks really offered specific insight into Gateley's many legal areas. Personally came away feeling like I knew what direction I wanted to head in (contentious vs non-contentious).

New skills included drafting Letters of Response to opposing lawyers.
Basic office skills are crucial to being with.
Unfortunately due to confidentiality and being in a temporary role, you cannot access all systems which would help broaden the experience and help you can provide to your team.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture and atmosphere was certainly everything Gateley advertised it to be. Felt very welcome, looked after and involved in the work. Overall the atmosphere was very comfortable and reflected the business well.

Don't hesitate to apply. This is a great experience and you really get to know the firm and are trusted with responsibility. You are not left hanging, and questions are always welcomed. Just get stuck in, and don't be nervous - there really is no need!
