Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my internship my role has changed day-to-day. I have attended several events to capture imagery (in-store, 'Lift Manchester', in-house events at GSHQ & GSLC etc.) I digitally-operate/ photograph e-commerce shoots 1/2 times a week. Some days I work from home or sit in office to edit existing imagery.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was treated as though I was a crucial member of the team and was given a lot of responsibility during my internship. Many external people (models etc.) have made comments such as 'I didn't realise you were an intern'; which explains this pretty well!

Yes, this internship has been an invaluable experience. I have learned more within this year than my 2 previous years at university. Both my knowledge and confidence has improved dramatically!

I have really enjoyed my time here, even though it has been challenging at times the overall experience has been invaluable, would recommend to anyone wanting to get a kickstart in their career.

What advice would you give to others applying to Gymshark
Cliché but just be yourself! You don't have to know everything, before I started my internship I knew about 25% that I do now about photography. Gymshark really value authenticity and passion for the brand, so make sure this shines through within your application.
