Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Conducted research tasks within my team, creating advice documents for clients. Attended a client call in which I drafted an advice note and used the information taken to populate a timetable of coming deadlines. Drafted a pre-action claim letter to go out to a client and spent time getting to know the firm.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We received a great insight into the business, being provided with a history of the business and the development of acquisitions made by the business over the years. Received an insight into the different practice areas within which the firm operates, with each team giving a short presentation to the vacation scheme students.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was great, I felt very welcome from the first day within the firm and within my specific team. Everyone was supportive with the work set if we had any questions and made it clear that they were there to answer any questions about the firm as a whole.

I thoroughly enjoyed the vacation placement as I felt I gained a great insight into the firm and the culture of the firm as well as being provided with a varied selection of work.
