Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The work involved helping out the department with a wide variety of tasks. It felt like a realistic work week in the firm. There were also talks to give insight into the firm and an interview at the end of the week

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The team were very open to talking about recruitment of various roles throughout many levels of work. There were a lot of talks and opportunity to talk with people of all levels including partners to understand how the business works on an office level and the firm as a whole.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of what is involved in being in a litigation seat as a trainee. The work was very varied and the team gave a lot of responsibility but also a lot of support in making sure I understood the tasks.

Company Culture

How would you rate business leader involvement during the insight

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was a very open and welcoming culture, not like many strict corporate firms where there is little day to day involvement with partners and senior staff. The culture was a big part of the experience for me.
