Finance Intern Review

My responsibilities as a finance intern at New Balance included assisting the finance team with different financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting activities. On a daily basis, I helped with data gathering and organisation, data analysis, and report preparation. I assisted in tracking spending and analysing deviations throughout budgeting and forecasting processes. Along with helping the month-end and year-end closing procedures, I also helped with reconciling financial statements, updating financial models, and other related tasks. I also worked with cross-functional teams, contributing financial knowledge and assistance with decision-making. Overall, I worked to contribute to the company's financial operations and develop expertise in the field of finance.

I was entrusted with specific tasks and projects that contributed directly to the finance teams objectives. I had the opportunity to work independently on assignments, demonstrating my ability to take ownership and meet deadlines. I participated in financial analysis and reporting, where accuracy and attention to detail were crucial.
