Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Pricing Analyst Intern I work closely with various departments including Management Accounts, Product, Operations and Merchandising, to maintain and create costs. Tasks are not the same everyday due to being in contact with many different distributors and subsidiaries while answering any AD Hoc queries they may have.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, a lot more than I thought I would be given. I enjoyed it though

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
My Excel skills have definitely improved, using them every day. Also my confidence in taking ownership of a task and being responsible for my self has grown. The role is quite independent due to the pricing team being fairly small (me and my manager).

Plenty, my manager was great and very supportive of my work. We mostly worked together and split tasks based on how much we had going on at the time.

I really enjoyed it and can’t recommend it enough. Everyone was so kind and I learnt so much. Excited to keep in contact with everyone
