Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Supporting simulation team by developing new algorithms, bug fixing and data generation.
Day-to-day involves communicating and brainstorming solutions with team in daily stand-up session. Independently implementing and testing solutions.

There were instances where I would be responsible for delivering data to an internal customer, and liaising with them directly.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very positive. Everyone shares a collective goal to deliver the best product possible in a timely manner. A good sense of camaraderie present in the Seeker division.

Having a good base understanding of engineering principles is invaluable. This not only includes the mathematical and science skills, but also the supporting methodologies that businesses follow. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt positively to challenges is recommended.
