Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Systems engineer - day to day involves various software and hardware based tasks, primarily in my role this was coding and document writing, has also included design tasks, involvement in meetings and development of soft skills such as management, communication and productivity
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
yes - felt like I was responsible for large parts of development which allowed me to take on tasks as my own, also helped develop my level of communication further to keep team members up to speed with what was going on in my project.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Cares a lot about the individual employee, felt like I was encouraged to get my work done but also to not overwork in the week, very supportive of when things went wrong and how those mistakes could be solved
