Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Insight day comprising of introduction to MUFG and Banking, group task with fellow insight day participants, speed-networking session with graduate analysts and panel discussion with senior leaders at MUFG.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The speed-networking session allowed students to talk to junior members of the organisation to learn about their roles and their route into banking which was extremely insightful. The panel session with senior leaders was also very helpful in shedding light on different roles within the organisation.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
The virtual insight day gave students plenty of opportunities to network and hear from current employees in junior and senior positions. I also gained an abundance of knowledge about investment banking as well as information on the correct skills required to break into investment banking. Students had an opportunity to improve and gain transferable skills through the group task.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
MUFG's culture is welcoming, friendly and collaborative. Although the organisation is huge, the virtual insight day gave students ample opportunities to network with various individuals in both junior and senior roles.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight day as I was able to gain first-hand experience as well as gain knowledge about the Banking industry. I enjoyed how there were many opportunities to interact with people from MUFG as well as individuals participating in the insight day which makes MUFG's virtual insight day stand out from others.
