Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily tasks include supporting on general team admin and press office functions, such as pitching and delivering assets to press. We also support with finance.
We are also put onto campaigns for the UK and EMEA, where we help in delivering events and junkets.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, all interns are treated as members of the team, and I was given my own projects and campaigns to own and lead.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes, my communications skills have massively improved, as has my knowledge of the media landscape. I am proficient in using finance systems, namely SAP, and have also developed brilliant time management skills in a fast paced environment.

Huge amounts. I had weekly 1:1's with my line manager, and also had a big team around me to help with my job.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The office is a very fun and exciting place to be. Intern culture is great as we have a big cohort, and the office is always lively and buzzing with new campaigns and project.
