Business Programme - Liverpool

Some industries are hard to break into without the right contacts. Our Business Programme changes that. If you are aged 18 to 24 and come from a background that is too often overlooked in the world of business, this programme is built for you. Over six weeks in Liverpool you will build the skills, confidence and connections to launch a career you can be proud of, then interview for real, paid roles with leading employers.

• Start date: 17 September 2026
• Duration: 6 weeks, plus 12 months of ongoing support
• Schedule: Part time, 3 days per week
• Age range: 18 to 24
• Minimum academic requirements: 5 GCSEs or National 5s at grade 4 / C or above
• Application deadline: 10 September 2026 (apply as early as you can)

Who you will work with

We connect you with leading employers for insight days, mentoring and coaching. With over a decade of experience, we have the connections that can offer a launchpad to a lasting career.

In Liverpool we work with employers including Direct Line Group, LFC Foundation and RSM Foundation.

What you will do

• Employability workshops: Sharpen the skills employers look for, from delivering presentations and writing your CV to communicating professionally.
• Corporate insight: Get comfortable in corporate spaces and learn how to network with senior business professionals.
• Interview practice: Build the skills to succeed at interviews and assessment centres, and let your potential shine.

Ongoing support

When the main programme ends, we do not leave you to it. For 12 months our team checks in regularly, helps you settle into the workplace and keeps your interview skills sharp. You will also join the LTSB Alumni Community, connecting with past participants and accessing events and opportunities.

Who can apply

No previous experience is needed, just the drive to learn and grow. To apply, you should:

• Be aged 18 to 24.
• Have 5 GCSEs or National 5s at grade 4 / C or above.
• Come from a background that faces barriers to a career in business.
• Be available for the full six weeks of the programme.
