Job Description
Breaking into law can feel impossible without the right contacts. Our Law Programme changes that. If you are aged 18 to 24 and come from a background that is too often overlooked in the legal profession, this programme is built for you. Over six weeks you will build practical legal skills, grow your confidence and gain real insight into the sector, including a mock trial at the Old Bailey, before interviewing for real, paid roles with top legal employers.

- Duration: 6 weeks, plus 12 months of ongoing support
- Schedule: Part time, 3 days per week
- Age range: 18 to 24
- Minimum academic requirements: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, plus 96 UCAS points
- Application deadline: 22 October 2026 (apply as early as you can)

Who you will work with
We connect you with leading legal employers for insight days, mentoring and coaching. With over a decade of experience, we have connections to the firms and legal teams that can offer a launchpad to a lasting career.
In London we work with employers including BPP, Farrer & Co, Kroll and Page Group.
What you will do
- Employability workshops: Level up the skills that matter, including presentations, legal writing, CV preparation and communicating professionally.
- Legal sector insight: Visit leading law firms and in house legal teams, hear about routes into the sector and learn how to network with legal professionals.
- Interview practice: Sharpen your interview skills and learn how to succeed at assessment centres in legal recruitment.
Ongoing support
When the main programme ends, we do not leave you to it. For 12 months our team checks in regularly, helps you settle into the workplace and keeps your interview skills sharp. You will also join the LTSB Alumni Community, connecting with past participants and accessing events and opportunities.
Who can apply
No previous experience is needed, just the drive to learn and grow. To apply, you should:
- Be aged 18 to 24.
- Have 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, plus 96 UCAS points.
- Come from a background that faces barriers to a career in law.
- Be available for the full six weeks of the programme.
