Our aim is to provide a flavour of the work that Savills apprentices undertake and to give potential future candidates a clear idea of how the property industry works.
Placement Dates
The placement will be for a duration of one week. This will be from Monday 27th July until Friday 31st July 2026. The placement location will be confirmed at the time of offer, however this will be based in Cambridge.
About the Programme
The Savills Apprenticeship Insight programme is open to students in the final year of their A Levels or equivalent, or those who have recently completed their A Level studies. The successful student will spend five days in a Savills office, shadowing one of our apprentices. Our aim is to provide a flavour of the work that Savills apprentices undertake and is a valuable chance to learn more about the property industry and Savills as a business. During the programme there will be the opportunity to network with other students, current apprentices and directors from across the business.
Surveying
Surveying involves measuring, valuing, protecting and enhancing physical assets. Surveyors guide projects and provide professional advice across land, infrastructure, construction and property. The Insight Programme placement is within the Development division.
Day-to-day / What you will be doing
- Spend five days shadowing a Savills apprentice in the Cambridge office
- Learn more about the property industry
- Network with students, apprentices, and directors
- Gain an overview of the activities within the Development division
Assessment for this Programme
- Application form (Applications close on Monday 29th June)
- Telephone interview (between Monday 6th July – Friday 10th July)
- Virtual interview with the team (between Monday 13th July - Friday 17th July)

Entry Requirements / What we are looking for / Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Students in the final year of their A Levels or equivalent, or have recently completed their A Level studies (Year 13 or just completed studies preferred)
- Hold GCSE English and Maths, Grade 4 or above
- Must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office applied to
- Applicants can only apply for either the in-person or virtual format, not both

- This placement is unpaid
- Travel expenses up to £10 a day
