About Time Assistant

Time Assistant are a leading UK Virtual Assistant provider who works with all types of small businesses by carrying out a range of back-office tasks to help free up their time. Time Assistant have a track record of bringing on apprentices, and due to continued growth they have an exciting opportunity for their fourth Digital Support Apprentice to join their team in the heart of Glasgow City Centre!

You will be trained to provide advice and support to clients but you will also need to demonstrate the ability to find answers from a range of sources. As Time Assistant are a small business you will be an integral part of the company operation, as the business grows so will your responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the initial point of contact for clients via email and phone, triaging inquiries and directing them to the appropriate teams while resolving queries efficiently
  • Managing internal and external communications using Microsoft Teams and Outlook, ensuring timely responses and collaboration
  • Acting as a superuser in Xero, accurately generating and issuing client invoices
  • Using Airtable (CRM/database) to maintain and update client records, schedule appointments, and support team workflows
  • Generating client-facing documents through Airtable to support operational processes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with recurring clients to enhance engagement and retention

You will need the following skills

  • Great attitude and work ethic
  • High level of organisation and the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills to handle email and telephone enquiries
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach to work
  • Ability to make decisions and work with minimum supervision once training has been provided.
  • Business related qualification preferred but certainly not essential

Salary

  • £18,200 - £19,747 per annum

Working hours

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
