Job Description

Project Management Level 4 Apprenticeship

Drive Innovation Through Our Products

Join the teams responsible for ensuring we’re offering what consumers really want and gain exposure to product services, delivery and more. Grow your potential as a Product Management Apprentice and work towards a professional qualification, all whilst earning £27,000!

Make things happen

As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in shaping our innovative products through three rotations—Product, Project, and Consumer, including a rotation within the O2 Priority app! You'll develop key skills in research, strategy, and customer insights while working on exciting projects like our TV and entertainment services, O2 Priority customer campaigns, and even the latest iPhone launches. This programme will help you build strong industry relationships and gain a deep understanding of what customers love. Day-to-day, you could be:

  • Supporting on which products or services should be launched, when’s best to launch these and the way in which we go about this
  • Coordinate and lead customer research to gain feedback on how they respond to our products
  • Working with our technical teams to make impactful changes to our existing product portfolio
  • Supporting the delivery of customer campaigns within the O2 Priority app, working closely with our Partnerships teams to bring offers, content and experiences to life

Our hybrid working model encourages spending 2–3 days in the office each week, while keeping flexibility at the heart of how we work to support both our people and our business.

Bring your authentic self

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take initiative and get stuck into a range of different tasks. We’ll encourage you to develop your data analytics skills and master your project management skills throughout the scheme. You will need at least 5 GCSEs level 4-9, or equivalent to be eligible for this scheme. Other qualities we’d like to see include:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Organisational skills
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills with a desire to develop these further

With inclusivity at the heart of everything we do, we’re 100% committed to having a workforce that represents every part of our society, so we’re keen to hear from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances. We’re an equal opportunities employer, embedding equity and inclusion into everything we do - from the policies we craft to the relationships we build. We believe an inclusive, diverse culture makes for a better business and a brighter world. The only barrier to applying would be if you didn’t have the right to work in the UK.

What’s in it for you

Not only will you be working towards your level 4 project management apprenticeship, but you’ll also pursue your Association of Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ). Join us on a starting salary of £27,000 with an increase at 12-months to £30,000. Final landing salaries start from £35,000 upon successful completion of the scheme. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy our amazing benefits, including:

  • A minimum of 23 days holiday, plus your birthday off!
  • Flexible benefits package including 10% matched pension contribution, holiday buying and selling, and discounts on shopping, travel and more
  • Private Bupa healthcare for you and your family
  • Up to 26 weeks’ paid maternity & adoption leave, plus generous paternity and neonatal leave

…and plenty more to support you inside and outside of work!

What is involved with studying for an apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to become skilled in your role, and combines on the job learning and academic study, where you’ll spend approximately 20% of your working hours completing learning with one of our training providers. The programme is fully funded by us, and we’ll support you from day one, ensuring you complete your apprenticeship with a nationally recognised qualification.
