IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - Countrystyle Recycling
About Countrystyle Recycling:
Countrystyle Recycling is a family-owned waste management and recycling company based in Kent. We work with businesses, local authorities, and organisations of all sizes to deliver reliable, tailored waste solutions that make managing waste simple, efficient, and sustainable. With modern facilities, specialist vehicles, and experienced teams, we help our customers handle waste responsibly while reducing landfill and improving recycling outcomes. Countrystyle is proud to support businesses and communities with practical waste management solutions that work. This role is to provide technical support across all sites, on desktop and networking infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain systems, resolving any general workplace IT issues
- Deliver IT projects, such as a new workflow if relating to the build process, including the carrying out of testing
- Maintenance of company hardware, including the set-up or replacement of computers, monitors and tablets
- Build new user machines and ready them for use by end users, new or existing
- Manage and maintain good quality, accurate documentation on all IT processes & provide support and advice to internal customers
- Monitor and update the ‘IT issues’ database
- Staff must co-operate, report unsafe conditions and comply with the company management systems and safe systems of work as well as co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements
Desirable skills:
- Basic understanding of computers and software
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Computer support exposure
- Strong communications skills at all levels
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
Working hours: 8am – 5pm
