Job Description

Sales IT Placement 2026

Life on the team

Salary: £25,000

Start Date: July 2026

Location: London

Programme duration: 13 months

We’re one of Europe’s leading technology resellers and services providers, helping some of the world’s iconic brands – like Audi, Transport for London, and Kellogg’s – to get the most out of their technology.

If you’re ready to kick-start your career in technology sales, our Sales IT Placement Programme gives you hands-on experience, real responsibility, and the chance to learn from the very best industry experts. Join us and you’ll build skills that matter and gain insights that will set you up for success.

You’ll work closely with our sales teams to see how we help our customers to achieve their goals through our three core service lines:

  • Technology Sourcing: We help our customers obtain the right tech by partnering with global leaders like Microsoft, Apple, and Google.
  • Managed Services: We manage and improve critical IT services so businesses stay efficient.
  • Professional Services: Working closely with our customers to design innovative tech solutions that shape the future.

What you’ll do

During your placement, you’ll rotate through different sales teams and get involved in an exciting array of projects such as:

  • Research & Insights: carrying out customer, market, and competitor research to shape strategy.
  • Data Analysis: Spot trends and identify new opportunities.
  • Bid Assistance: Help with customer bids and proposals.
  • This is your chance to see how relationships are built, deals come to together, and technology solutions are created and delivered.

What you’ll need

  • You’ll be a current undergraduate student studying in the UK, in your penultimate year, from any degree discipline.
  • You’ll be curious about tech and eager to learn.
  • You’ll be comfortable building relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • You’ll be someone who can use their initiative, own your work, and able to collaborate.
  • You’ll be proactive and ready to make an impact.

What you can expect

Throughout the programme, you’ll have access to:

  • A structured onboarding experience and ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience working on real projects with real customers.
  • Exclusive opportunities to connect with some of our biggest technology partners, including Apple, IBM, and Google.
