"The procurement graduate scheme at EDF has enabled me to develop my skills and grow confidently within my first professional role. The support I have received, alongside training towards my CIPS qualification have been invaluable, empowering me to meaningfully contribute to EDF's mission of building an Electric Britain." – James, Procurement Graduate

The Opportunity

Alongside earning a salary of £35,000 per annum, you’ll work towards gaining an industry-recognised qualification – the CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply – fully funded by us.

This is a two-year programme where you’ll complete placements across a variety of procurement teams. You’ll gain exposure to high-value contracts, technical contract management, stakeholder engagement and supply chain efficiency.

You’ll also develop leadership skills and work on meaningful projects that contribute to the UK’s Net Zero goals. With support from mentors and industry experts, you’ll build confidence and shape a career that’s truly your own.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Procurement Graduate at EDF, you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that support the UK’s journey to Net Zero.

  • Support sourcing and procurement activities across EDF’s Customers business
  • Work on high-value, business-critical contracts that make a real difference
  • Own and manage your own category of services
  • Develop stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills
  • Learn from experienced mentors and industry experts

Your Work Location

You’ll be based in our vibrant graduate hub in # London, with opportunities to work flexibly and visit other EDF sites across the UK. You’ll also connect with a national graduate community through events and networks.

Who You Are

To be eligible for this EDF graduate programme, you need to have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, a bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in any field of study. We welcome applications from all disciplines – your attitude and ambition are what count.

At EDF we work hard to maintain a culture where Everyone’s Welcome. We encourage and embrace diversity and how it can improve our experience and performance at work. It is nevertheless a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK. Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility, we reserve the right in our decisions to give priority to those who already have the right to work in the UK.

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a starting salary of at least £35,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us. As a Disability Confident employer, we will support applicants requiring adjustments.

Working as part of a team is an important part of who we are, and something we take great pride in. In 2025, our customers business was named one of the Sunday Times Best Place to Work. This recognition celebrates our commitment to a positive, inclusive culture where people feel empowered, supported and valued. It highlights the way we collaborate, support each other and that our people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

We anticipate significant interest in this graduate programme – so please don’t delay, apply today!

We’re proud to share that in our last recruitment cycle, we received nearly 32,000 applications across our early career’s programmes. While this means the process is highly competitive, please don’t be discouraged if you’re not successful this time. Every single application is carefully reviewed by a real person who values the effort you put in.

Our Virtual Assessment Centre will take place on Tuesday 17th March 2026.

Success is Personal. It's your journey, powered by us. Join us and drive the transition towards an Electric Britain.
