Role:

This undergraduate placement offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience at the intersection of data governance and sustainability. Ideal for a data-driven individual with strong analytical skills, this role supports digital transformation initiatives and contributes to our Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) and compliance efforts. You’ll help ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility, playing a key role in enabling accurate reporting, regulatory alignment, and sustainable business practices. This is a chance to build foundational skills in data management while making a meaningful impact on our sustainability goals.

As part of our Digital and Data Division, you’ll play a key role in advancing data governance, ESG reporting and regulatory compliance. You'll work with high-quality data to drive transparency, track performance, and support strategic action—helping us meet ambitious goals while shaping a more responsible future.

This role will have the opportunity to travel for internal/external meetings across Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the collection, validation, and organization of data using digital tools.
  • Assist with data governance activities, helping to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms and systems.
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable data flows reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Help monitor performance through data analysis and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of supplier-facing materials such as newsletters, guidance documents, and instructional content, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Assist in managing shared collaboration spaces (e.g., Outlook mailboxes, SharePoint sites) to support effective data organization and accessibility.
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory reporting by preparing and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Participate in initiatives to automate data processes and enhance digital capabilities for compliance reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for improving data workflows and support the implementation of governance-focused solutions.

Qualifications, skills and experience: Required/Desirable

Required

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field with a strong focus on data analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and other data management platforms.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment about data governance and sustainability.
  • A collaborative team player with strong organizational and time management skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry.
  • Previous experience in Data and/or Sustainability sector.
