About the Programme:

Designed to inspire black heritage, female and students from less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds, the programme is an amazing opportunity for you to experience the inclusive and collaborative culture that we’re proud to have cultivated at Deutsche Bank.

As part of Rise Grow and Advance into Corporate Banking you will have the opportunity to take part in a varied schedule covering the below:

  • A four-day interactive (in-person) insight programme introducing you to Deutsche Bank and the Financial Services sector focusing on Corporate Banking.
  • You will gain an understanding of other areas of the bank to broaden your understanding of how each area operates in partnership to fulfil our client needs.
  • Interactive workshops introducing our business, clients, and our role in society.
  • The opportunity to meet inspirational leaders and role models from analysts and associates right through to senior management.
  • Employability skills workshops with the Early Careers team.
  • You will have an opportunity to attend in-person workshops, interactive or networking sessions to see what goes on behind the scenes.
  • You will have access to a dedicated Deutsche Bank mentor who will be committed to guiding you throughout the programme and supporting your professional journey for 12 months after the programme.

  • RISE – aimed at students of black heritage, you will have the opportunity to network with senior black heritage leaders and gather their insight into the finance industry.
  • GROW – aimed at female students, you will have an opportunity to network with senior females and gather their insight into navigating the finance industry.
  • ADVANCE – aimed at students from less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds.

Successful students may have the opportunity to be considered for Deutsche Bank’s Internship Programme in Summer 2027.

About the Division:

Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank addresses the needs of corporate clients, financial institutions, investors and issuers in three segments.

In Corporate Treasury Services we provide corporate clients with liquidity management, foreign exchange, payment, trade finance and lending solutions working closely with the Investment Bank to ensure cross-divisional alignment.

Our Institutional Client Services provide financial institutions, investors and issuers with institutional cash management, trust and agency solutions as well as securities services.

40% of our global employees are located outside of Germany, our home market and we can leverage our comprehensive global network in 140 markets. We are the world’s biggest Euro clearing bank with around €3.6 trillion traditional assets under custody and have handled more than 315,000 transactions in 2024. We offer full range of banking services with a strong focus on banking services for multi-nationals, mid-caps and large local client.

Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. You should not only be passionate about the world of finance but also show a keen interest in your chosen field. To apply for our programme you must

  • be in the first year of your undergraduate studies, or your second year of a four year course.
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience (this excludes previous internships)
  • Whilst we are unable to sponsor visas for this particular programme, if you are currently studying in the UK on a Tier 4 Student visa, you must ensure your terms and conditions although for non-term time working. You may be required to show this to a member of the Early Careers Team.
