IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - Dial A Geek

Dial A Geek is a Bristol-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in IT support, Cybersecurity, and compliance solutions for businesses. Founded in 2006, the company has grown from a one-person operation to a certified B Corp with a strong focus on sustainability and social impact. Dial A Geek’s mission is to help businesses protect their data, enhance productivity, and achieve compliance through its comprehensive Protect & Grow managed IT plans.

Services include Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace management, device security, vulnerability management, AI-enhanced email security, and disaster recovery planning. With a reputation for clear, jargon-free communication and strong client relationships, Dial A Geek supports nearly 1,000 businesses across Bristol, the South West, and the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and logging ticket requests efficiently
  • Providing helpdesk support via email, phone or remote support
  • Keeping accurate records of work completed and ongoing jobs
  • Visiting clients on site to resolve issues
  • Handling new computer setups, employee onboarding and offboarding request

Desirable skills:

  • Customer service skills
  • Good communication skills

  • Great work ethic
  • Experience within IT is desirable but not essential

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with 30 mins lunch break. This role is office based on a full time basis.
