Müller are looking for enthusiastic second year students to join their 13-month industrial placement scheme in July 2026. There are a range of opportunities available. Please note that you can express an interest in multiple roles and your preferences will be noted at the interview stage.

What are the roles?

Müller Milk and Ingredients Engineering Team Intern 2025 -

  • Location: Manchester or Droitwich
  • Müller is seeking motivated and talented placement students to join our Central Engineering team, working across several of our dairy manufacturing facilities within MMI in the UK. This exciting role offers exposure to a range of projects, automation systems, and asset lifecycle management. You will have the opportunity to develop technical expertise while building leadership skills. This placement is an excellent springboard for students aiming to enhance their engineering capabilities and gain valuable experience within the FMCG industry.

Who can apply?

  • UK Driving License: Must hold a UK driving licence with at least one year of experience driving currently.
  • Right to work: You must have a full Right to Work in the UK.
  • We welcome applications from second-year university students who are curious, analytical, and eager to learn. If you’re on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in a related degree and looking for a placement year full of growth, collaboration, and impact You can be studying towards any degree to be eligible for this role.
  • You must be in your second year of study and due to undertake a Placement/Sandwich year as part of your course, due to graduate in 2028 or 2029 if you are completing an Integrated Masters.
  • We recommend that applicants are working towards a relevant engineering-based degree, preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • Organisational skills: Effective time management and high attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills: Making data-driven decisions to solve problems.
